We are blessed to celebrate our nuptial mass at Saint Mary of Sorrows Historic Church in Fairfax Station, Virginia on May 30, 2009. The church was built in 1858 and served as a field hospital during the Civil War. Clara Barton nursed the wounded at the church and as a result of her experiences founded a civilian society that later became the American Red Cross. While the church is charming, it is quite small and we are only able to accommodate our families for the nuptial mass. We look forward to celebrating our marriage with our families and friends at Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia in the evening.
