Catherine and Kirsty

Catherine and Kirsty came from London to finish their scuba diving certification this spring. They did their open water dives in Key Largo and got certified. They did a great job and had a lot of fun. John and Maureen also joined us for one day of diving.

Ashley took some great photos along the way in Key West, Key Largo, and Jupiter. I especially like her sunset photos. Have a look at the photos.

Nurse shark

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

This will probably be the last video I post of diving in Key Largo. Of all the videos I took it is probably my favorite. This nurse shark, Ginglymostoma cirratum, was very gentle and calm even as I followed it around the reef. I hope you enjoy the video.

Lobster

Sunday, October 25th, 2009

Although this isn’t my best video, I think it shows the spiny lobster, Panulirus argus, pretty well. To take this video I had to hold the camera upside down and point the camera without being able to see the viewfinder while I was vertical with my feet up and my head down.
